Fernanda Lima is a Brazilian soprano with formal training in Classical Singing from EMESP – São Paulo State Music School (Tom Jobim) and EMMSP – São Paulo Municipal School of Music, one of the most renowned music conservatories and educational institutions in Latin America.
She began her musical studies in 2007 with keyboard lessons under Elon Bittencourt, and in 2008 started lyrical singing lessons with Fernanda Hebe de Souza. Soon after, she joined the OSESP Youth Choir (São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra), conducted by Naomi Munakata, where she worked with vocal coach Marcos Thadeu and pianist Dana Radu, also performing as a soloist.
Between 2010 and 2011, Fernanda sang with the Concerto Group, conducted by Paulo Roberto Cerqueira, and attended masterclasses with distinguished teachers such as Juvenal de Moura, Edna D’Oliveira, Laura de Souza, Paulo Roberto Cerqueira, and Maria Lúcia Waldow, among others.
Her vocal training includes studies with Fernanda Hebe de Souza, Marília Vargas, Ludmila de Carvalho, Adriano Vasconcelos, Juliana Scarling, and Andrea Kaiser.
In 2016, she enrolled at EMESP, where she completed the Cycle 3 in Classical Singing. Later, she continued her studies at EMMSP (São Paulo Municipal School of Music), focusing on vocal performance and technique. She has worked as a singing and beginner keyboard teacher, as well as a vocal coach for choirs, also giving masterclasses in vocal technique.
Fernanda currently lives in Ireland, where she earned the AVCM (Associate of the Victoria College of Music, London) diploma in Singing. She also sang for a short period with the Irish Youth Choir (IYC), continuing to develop her artistic career as a singer and music teacher
