Rachel Byrne
Piano, Violin and Voice

Rachel Byrne is a graduate from University College Dublin where she studied Music and Irish. She has also received training in youth theatre facilitation, and uses this practise to enrich both group and individual lessons.

Rachel began playing violin as a child, and has completed RIAM Grade 8. She is also self taught on guitar and ukulele, and is currently working towards her Piano Diploma exam with VCM. Rachel has had a life long love for singing, recieveing an Entrance Scholarship to the UCD Choral Scholars. Her love of choral music began in Irish Youth Choir, where she remained a member for several years. Rachel currently sings with Cór Fingal. Rachel has previously studied Musical Theatre with our own Jade Quinn, where she achieved Distinction in the Associate Diploma in Musical Theatre from Victoria College London. She is currently studying Classical Singing with our own Louise McGahon, and furthering her Piano tuition with Edelian Pedrosa.

As a teacher, Rachel strives to provide a hollistic understanding and appreciation for music, while maintaining a fun and relaxed environment for each student to make their own musical experiences.
