Leila Bahyer is a Brazilian classical singer and music teacher based in Ireland.  As a performer, she has toured as a soloist in Germany and she has participated in Masterclasses in Brazil, France and Italy.  She went to The International Competition for Opera Singers in Orvieto, Italy and competed for the Nancy Calthorpe cup in Feis Ceoil in Ireland.

 

All of these tours, masterclasses and competitions have given her the opportunity to perform for international artists and  improve knowledge and expertise in singing and classical music.

With a Bachelor degree in classical singing and a degree in Music Education, she has been teaching singing, piano and music theory for nearly 20 years.

 

In Ireland, she developed experience preparing students for singing, piano and music
theory exams (RIAM,  ABRSM and Trinity College).  As a classical singer, she has been working on personal projects singing Lieder and Chanson. She is a regular student of Colette Macgahon Tosh in TU Dublin and a student of the Solfege Course with the Kodaly Institute in Hungry.
