David has obtained Distinctions in Grade 7 Self-Accompanied Singing with VCM and Grade 8 Pianoforte RIAM distinction, in Grade 8 Self-Accompanied Singing VCM Honours and Music Theory VCM, with distinction.

David holds a BA Honours Degree in Commercial Songwriting in BIMM College Dublin. This course allowed him to explore multiple areas of songwriting and musical performance in relation to modern music.

David specialises in Composition, Arrangement, Performance and Teaching. David has over 7 years of performing experience with his band and on his own playing concerts in venues across Louth and Dublin including Wheelans, The Button Factory and Sin É. He has taught now for the past few years and is familiar with syllabi in piano, self accompanying singing and plectrum guitar with Royal Irish Academy of Music, Dublin, Victoria College of Music, UK and Associated Board, UK.

He also awarded with Honours in Associated Diploma in Piano and Fellowship (Hons) in Plectrum Guitar Victoria College of Music, London.
